After a big day yesterday I got to sleep in this morning, which was a lovely change. I had no alarm and a ‘Do not disturb’ sign on the door so that I could get a good night’s rest. But when I woke up I think the air-conditioning and given me a bit of a cold, maybe it is just because I’m run down also. I still haven’t even done my readings for last week, that’s how ridiculously tired I am feeling. So this morning I used my time to do some more readings (from last week still), and then I went to Lush by myself for a good feed before work. It was actually nice on my own because it meant I could get some work done while I was there in a nice café-type atmosphere rather than in my room.
I got to work at 1:30pm and we were straight into it with the Women’s 58kg Group A where China won Gold yet again. These guys know how to lift and it is so rare that they miss an attempt. Right this minute there are thousands of screaming Chinese cheering on the Men’s 62kg winner Zhang Xiangxiang.
