Day 21: Practice makes perfect

Mark from infostrada came today and told us how good he thought our venue and team were, which honestly didn’t give me much hope. I just think we need to practice a lot more than we have. Since no one else was going to give us practice, we international students took it upon ourselves to do some flash quote reporting by making up scenarios and trying to write down quotes as quickly as possible.

After a ridiculous amount of time waiting and lining up for lunch, and then nap time and ice cream time, we went through three weight categories before going home. A day well spent.

For dinner, Jane invited us out to Purple Haze, a Thai place which serves awesome cocktails. Only Steve, Lauren and I went, but it was so much fun. We got accidentally drunk on cocktails and ate so much and when the bill came it was $25 each including drinks. Crazy! I will hate life when I have to go back and everything costs what it actually says haha. In the taxi on the way home we had a great time singing Crowded House and doing beautiful harmonies. Must say, it did get the best nights out award. Then to top it all off, when we got home we ran around my floor singing Weather With You just so everyone that had woken me up in the past got a fair share heheh =) Lots of fun.
